Sears
Deep-Cycle 22NF 50AH Sealed Wheel Chair Battery This
battery can be placed on the inside of trailer because it
is sealed and does not need venting. Switch #1 on right
controls house lights & vent fan power. Switch #2 on
right controls 12V outlets and fridge power and the 12V
water pump. Terminal Strip is where connection for trailer
brakes, trailer lights and tow vehicle power are made.
Grey
box on left is a Circuit breaker box with one15A breaker
for lights and outlets and a 20A breaker for microwave,
fridge & A/C. Duplex outlet w/white cover is a
Ground-Fault Interrupter. Orange cord connects to the
lights and outlets in camper. Black cord connects to
processor controlled battery charger. Black box next to
charger converts 12Volts to 110Volts. Orange cord can be
plugged into 110V inverter when shore power is off. The
will never be a way to plug microwave, fridge and A/C
into 12V to 110V converter.
Breaker #1
connects to Ground Fault Interrupter outlet. Breaker #2
connects to Refrigerator, Microwave and A/C.
110V
outlets and 12V outlets are mounted in pairs. Where ever
there is a 12V outlet, there is also a 110V outlet.
(12V on left 110V on right). Outlets pictured are located
under the dinette table. Link
to electrical information.
110V
and 12V outlets next to the 110V lamp are located on
the wall to the left of refrigerator. The lamp was
found for sale at a Lowes lumber store.
Spring of this
year (2006), I started ripping apart the kitchen counter
area. Gas line for stove is on top, gas line for Mr. Heater
is on bottom back of cabinet. The third gas line you
see goes to the LP Lamp over Sink.
I
then trimmed back the end towards the bed so I could
shorten it up to make room for a full size mattress in the
Gaucho area. You can see where the wood from the original
cabinet is, its still painted the speckled blue. The clear
non-painted wood is new wood added for the new
cabinet.
I
then added the sides and backs to the cabinet. The gas line
for stove pokes through on top, the gas line for lamp runs
up into the wall. You can see it at the upper left
side of the cabinet.
Now
the top and front have been added. Note, I kept the
original Scotty towel rack! I also added a water pump, so
now there are two faucets, one direct connect to water
line, the other one connects to tank via pump.
This
is the Mr. Heater location. Its hung using two screws on
the side of the cabinet.
Finished!!
Now the fire extinguisher is located over the stove, I
guess it should be moved. The Formica was purchased
at
Lowes and the metal
edge was purchased at White Wire
Works in Rochester NY.
The sink and stove were purchases at Bontrangers
in
White Pigeon MI. The faucets were purchases on
ebay. The Mr.Heater
was purchased at Dicks.
Here
is where the microwave and 3-way refrigerator go. Tom Duffy
had a great idea of putting an AC unit up here also.
I was thinking of putting it under the bed like the
13' Scotties, but since the 15' Scotties have the room, it
made perfect sense to me to put it here. So
hopefully there will be room to add all three here.
Here
is the cabinet ripped apart. Hole for refrigerator venting
has been cut out.
I ripped back all the wood to the main supports.
Then
added the new plywood. I left a hole so the Microwave could
vent. Also added AC outlet box DC outlet, TV cable
and phone plug (with cell phone not sure there is any
reason for this but I might need it for the computer).
Note
orange wiring for AC outlets, black wiring for DC outlets,
and copper tubing for Fridge. The vary large black wire is
the 12 gauge 20Amp AC power mains.
Lynn
came up with this idea, to just replace the rounded top
cubbies. But as you all know, you really can't store
anything up here or it falls out. So I'm adding doors
to the front of the holes.

Finished!!
Thanks go to Tom Duffy for his hinges!
Microwave is
bolted on from the bottom.
Refrigerator is surplus from one of Nancy Kroes' surplus RV
stores. Works like new but it was missing the front
panel, I improvised using white-board material.
