Front
right view with new side all fastened down.
Back
Left side of camper. Just about ready to paint.
Needs back end buttoned up. Needs to be sanded and trim
taped off.
And here I had a little ♥Heart♥
problem. This but
a three month delay in my project. So since I could
not do much while recovering, I started working on the
windows. And instead of painting the Scotty with out the
windows as I had originally planned, I installed the
windows before painting. Installing the windows was a
low heart-strain activity.
Cleaning up the
window trim.
ReadyStrip got
off the paint, SOS shined the metal.
Window trim
installed. I painted around the window opening before
installing the trim to make it easier to paint around the
window.... but Lynn did not like the color, so I'm back to
doing it the normal way.
Window with new
glass and new rubber glazing.
The
smaller windows needed a less elaborate bushing
replacement. Just a 1/4" diameter plastic bushing cut
down to fit the channel worked great.
Outside metal all
shined and ready to paint.
Windows installed
with new Stainless Steel Screws.
Taping off the
Scotty getting ready to paint it. Kitty is inspecting the
roof to make sure there are no leaks.
Painting the
Scotty Aqua Color. Trailer dolly is used to move
camper in and out of the garage, it saves a lot of time,
and camper is easily moved with it.
Second coat of
Aqua color painted. That is not the bottom of the
flag on the wheel, it's just an old stripped towel which
"looks" like the flag.
